  r, the shower, my clothes, ect. But most important to me, it was even more difficult for me to keep up with my toddler. This limited our outings together until someone was around to help me. He once got away from me at the park and ran towards traffic. All I could do was scream because my hip locked on me and I was in so much pain as I tried to catch him. I literally could not move. It was terrifying. Thanks to Dr. Freeman and the JOI staff, I can now move my hip more freely. That awful “catch” that was there is gone. The anticipated surgical pain was nothing..nothing compared to the pain I was feeling prior to surgery. It was immediate relief for me. I am so encouraged and cannot wait for me and my son to get back out there and explore again.
