  After 9 months of chronic pain in my hip, I had anterior hip replacement on December 23rd. The surgery was performed by Dr. Carl Freeman. Two hours after surgery I was up and walking. I went home the next day, and even with the severity of the surgery, I had minimal pain and only required Ibuprofen. I went back on Jan. 5th for my follow up appt., and the assistant that removed my staples said that my incision was done so well that there would hardly be a visible scar when healing was complete. The care I received at J.O.I. Is the best of the best. Professional, personable, and taking care to answer any question or concern with compassion and clarity. I told Dr. Freeman when he walked into the examination room that if we were not experiencing this Covid dilemma, I would be hugging him. He is my hero. He has changed my life. I have been made new.
