  Like an old car up on blocks, body parts can wear out. In my case it was my left hip. Osteoarthritis left it so dysfunctional that I had limited ability to walk, and the pain was very bad. After a consult with Dr. Freeman at JOI San Marco we agreed it was time to do a total hip replacement. And it has literally changed my life. My pain is gone, I can walk again and Dr. Freeman did a superb job with no bruising, bleeding or other complications. It was a posterior--not anterior--incision but nevertheless I was back at work in 12 days (I sit most of the workday). In-home and outpatient rehab were arranged for me as well. I clearly highly recommend JOI, Dr. Carl Freeman and his staff.
