  I'm 10 months off the table today 12/4/21. Ive intentionally reserved my review until I had some miles on this new hip. Dr Freeman and his team did a right anterior hip replacement on me back in Feb. I'm now 58 yrs. and doing pretty darn good. He and his team and the whole process is amazing. I was up walking around a few hours after the procedure. Wanted to do more but they held me back. Went home next day right after PT and training on how to protect that new joint. Everything went just as I was told. Started in home PT a day or so later, which lasted for about a week, breezed through that, started PT with JOI (Derek) on Roosevelt Blvd. I was scheduled for 8 weeks and was done in about 3. Very minimal pain throughout the whole process.. I did what I was told to do until I was actually back on a ladder in construction in 4 weeks. Sorry Dr, I know I wasn't supposed to do that. Anyway, Dr Freeman, his staff, JOI, Baptist and PT staff (Derek) is a winning combination. If you're facing a new hip procedure, you have to want it, get your mind and body prepared, use these experts for your hip replacement and you'll get some quality back in your life. I sure did. Walking, sitting and sleeping with out pain and pills will change your life.
