  Dr Freeman is an orthopedic surgeon at JOI who recently performed an arthroscopic meniscectomy on my right knee. The procedure was quick and painless. Since he did a very successful total hip replacement on me in the past, I requested Dr. Freeman again. He is a superb surgeon, and I knew I was in great hands. As always, he was understanding, listened carefully to what I had to say, and outlined all possible treatments. The surgery went like clockwork and Dr Freeman’s recovery instructions were spot on. After the 3rd day I was off the crutches/cane and by the end of the week my knee was feeling like a million bucks. I couldn’t believe the outcome; it was back to normal sooner than expected and the initial pain following surgery was minimal. I was able to quickly get back on my tractor and resume my farm activities. Dr Freeman is a credit to JOI and to the profession. In addition to Dr Freeman, the entire staff at JOI San Marco was very professional. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. MA Charlotte was highly organized and efficient and was able to get me an MRI on short notice. Physician Assistant Wesley Jett was professional and treated me with great care and kindness. He was able to control my pain with steroid injections until I could have surgery.
