  I am an out of town patient 5 hours away from Jacksonville. I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia unfortunately the ortho surgeons in my area dragged my case and had me waiting 7 months before telling me to go to a subspecialty because they can’t do anything to help me. I suffered pain the past 7 months walking with so much excruciating pain and chasing my 2 year old toddler with my crutches and cane. I’m an OR nurse of over 15 years and did my research. I read about Dr. Carl Freeman and all the testimonials about how excellent he is. Made an appt. He made me feel VIP and he was so polite, professional and proactive. He’s also aggressive with the treatment meaning he didn’t want to make me suffer another day. He immediately scheduled me for surgery and went far and beyond just to make my surgery possible in as short as a month instead of the normal 3 month wait. His entire staff was excellent and extremely efficient like Dr. Freeman. Dr. Freeman even called me from his personal cellphone to tell me of my MRI results. He makes you feel like you’re the only patient he has and I’m sure he has thousands. I trust Dr. Freeman with my life. He is the BEST and most EXCELLENT orthopedic surgeon I know and I highly recommend Dr. Freeman if you want the best results. So worth getting my surgery done out of town. He’s heaven sent! Intelligent, extremely efficient, passionate, skilled and he cares a lot about his patients. I got my total right hip arthroplasty from JOI 8/5/24 and all the staff was superb! If I get another ortho surgery I will definitely be going back to him 200%.
